January

  1. Inside Out and Back Again (link) : this is the first book I read this year. And I must say it was a great beginning. An awesome book. (5/5)
  2. Number the Stars (link): The second book was as good as as the first one. Loved it fully. (4.5/5)
  3. My Weird School #1: Miss Daisy Is Crazy! (My Weird School series) (link): I have only read the first book in this series and it was fun. My daughter loved the whole series, so now I got her the second series by the same author, my weird school daze (link).
  4. Where the Red Fern Grows (link): Still reading, it is an old book and the references felt dated. It is a slow read. However, when I understood that it was kind of reminiscence by an old man then the story started to have a context. Till now it is a 3/5. Will update the final verdict when I finish it.
  5. Kings of Crypto: One Startup’s Quest to Take Cryptocurrency Out of Silicon Valley and Onto Wall Street (link) : My first non-fiction of the year. Finished half of the book till now. Not bad, fills like reading a thriller. However, sometime it is a bit hard to keep track of all the characters. Got really bored halfway to the book. could not finish :(
  6. The Crossing (Harry Bosch book 18)(link) : pretty good (3/5)

  2. The poppy war book 1: Awesome
  3. Flora and Ulysses: lovely book (4/5)
  4. Story of a forth grade nothing by Judy Blum — the book started of nicely, but then got a bit boring on the way. since I was a so-called know-it-all bossy girl during my childhood (and still am) I did not like when peter called Sheila that.
  5. The Wrong Side of Goodbye — Good
  6. Two Kinds of Truth — Good
  7. The Gopi Diaries: Coming Home — nice book
  8. The Little Prince : Antoine de Saint-Exupéry — loved as much i did when i read first time in my childhood

September

  1. The Case of the Bizarre Bouquets: An Enola Holmes Mystery (link) — reading
